Pleasantview - Series 1 - Episode 07 - Crime and Punishment I

It isn't often that a new face appears in Pleasantview, but today, two strangers are approaching the Goth household.

DC Fisher: She better live here after all this.
DC Peters:
Have a bit of faith.
DC Fisher:
We've been trying to find her for three months! I had faith then, but now I'm all out of it. I just don't think she would of come back here.
DC Peters:
She might of if she was innocent.
DC Fisher:
I can't believe your still thinking that! All the evidence points to her.

DC Peters: Ah, good morning young man. I'm DC Peters, and this is DC Fisher. Is this the Goth household?
Alexandra:
Yes.
DC Peters:
Excellent. Were looking for Bella.
Alexandra:
What do you want her for?
DC Peters:
Is she here or not?
Cassandra:
Alex, who are those people?
DC Fisher: Good morning. I'm DC Fisher, and this is DC Peters.
Cassandra:
Alex, I'll handle this. Get on the bus.
Alexandra:
If it's about mum I want to know what's going on!
Cassandra:
I said I'll handle it!
Alexandra:
Fine!

Cassandra: What can I do for you?
DC Peters
Were looking for Bella Goth. Is she in?
Cassandra:
She doesn't live here.
DC Fisher:
I told you this was a waste of time.
DC Peters:
(sighs) Do you know where we can find her?
Cassandra:
She's staying across the road. At number 215.
DC Peters:
She is!? Well that's fantastic!
Cassandra:
What's she done?
DC Peters:
We just need to ask her some questions.
Cassandra
: What about?
DC Fisher:
We can't tell you any details yet, but thank you for you time. We may need to question you later today.
Cassandra:
I'm going out.
DC Fisher:
That's ok, we have your mobile number.
Cassandra:
How?
DC Fisher:
We've done our research Cassandra. Good day to you.

DC Peters: Wait.
DC Fisher:
What now?
DC Peters:
We need to get police backup.
DC Fisher:
What? Why?
DC Peters:
We don't want to loose her. We've been trying to find her for months, and now we know exactly where she is.
DC Fisher:
I want that woman arrested right now.
DC Peters:
Just wait. We'll have her in for questioning in no time.
DC Fisher:
Fine, we'll do it your way, but if she escapes I'm blaming you.
DC Peters:
Another reason for police backup then. She won't be able to escape.
DC Fisher: There's one thing your failing to think of.
DC Peters: What's that then?
DC Fisher: What if she isn't in?

Goth: I just want to be back in my own home for Christmas. Alexandra is fine about it, but Cassandra really won't forgive me. I've just brought her a present to try and make it up to her. The thing is, it's actually my house, but I'm trying to give her time to get used to the idea.
Michelle:
Oh, so it's nothing to do with her throwing you out?
Goth:
(Laughs). I forgot how fast news travelled around here. Yeah, she chucked me out and unfortunately, I don't have a key. Alex has tried to let me in twice, but she's keeping a close eye on everything.
Michelle:
I'm sure everything will work out. What's it like living with Mary-Sue?
Cassandra:
It's fine, but she's been moping around for the last three days over some divorce papers.

(Police Sirens)
Mary-Sue:
What the..?

Bella: Oh my god!

Angela: I can't believe your not dressed yet!
Lilith:
I'm ill!
Angela:
You've just got a hangover. You've missed three classes now.
Lilith:
So what?
Angela:
You've only had three!
Lilith:
You sound like mum.
Angela:
We came to university to learn.
Lilith:
No, you came here to learn. I came here for a good time!
Angela:
You can do both! You've just got to learn to control yourself. Stop drinking so much.
Lilith:
Angela, please, I'll start going to classes in my own time.
Angela:
Your missing all the important stuff.
Lilith:
It's ok, I know a girl called Fran, studying Drama too. I'll catch up.
Angela:
Fine, don't listen to me then!

Lilith: I am listening to you! I'm going to get dressed now.
Angela:
We used to get on so well, but ever since we came here you've acted like you hate me.
Lilith:
I don't hate you. Why do you think I stuck up for you?
Angela:
What?
Lilith:
Haven't you noticed that Kate's left you alone since our first day?
Angela:
I've hardly seen her though. She's been in bed all the time like you.
Lilith:
Exactly.
Angela:
What do you mean? Have you been going out with her?
Lilith:
Yes! Finally catching on are you?
Angela:
How could you? I thought you said she was a bully.
Lilith:
She's nice when you get to know her.
Angela:
Nice!? Nice!? Her and nice don't go together!
Lilith:
Look, your just upset because I've actually made a friend!
Angela:
I have too.
Lilith:
What, that boy you've been hanging around with, if you can call studying hanging around?
Angel:
At least we actually do some work.
Lilith:
I'd love to stand here and argue all day, but I've apparently got a lot of work to catch up on. I'm going for a shower.

Mary-Sue: She went out hours ago. Why do you want her?
DC Fisher:
She's not in!?
Mary-Sue:
No, is there anything I can help with?
DC Fisher:
No. Peters, get rid of that damn police car! She's not in!

DC Peters: Oh, damn it! Move that bloody car!
DC Fisher:
What if she's already seen us?
DC Peters:
We better get people out there looking for her. We mustn't lose her now!

Lilith: I feel dreadful.
Kate:
You'll get use to the after affects, don't worry.
Lilith:
I don't want to get use to them. It's not worth it. I really need to start going to classes too.
Kate:
You are joking right?
Lilith:
No. My sister thinks I'm getting drunk every night. She's probably going to tell my mum, and then she'll get really worried and want me to come home.
Kate:
You don't have to listen to your sister or your mother.
Lilith:
I might not have to, but I want to.
Kate:
Your not going to ditch me are you?
Lilith:
No... not completely anyway. I'll still go out with you a few nights a week, but I'm not taking the pills anymore.

Kate: Oh really. In that case, I might let a little secret slip to your sister.
Lilith:
You wouldn't!?
Kate:
Wouldn't I?
Lilith:
Don't you dare!
Kate:
Are you going to come out with me tonight?
Lilith:
I can't.
Kate:
Do you know where you sister is?
Lilith:
Fine, I'll come!
Kate:
Thank you. Take these for later.
Lilith:
No, I don't want anymore!
Kate:
I'll go and find Angela then.
Lilith:
Fine, I'll take them!

Nina: No, I haven't seen her today. What's she done?
Officer: I can't tell you sorry.
Nina:
It must be really serious. I've seen 5 police cars drive past in the last ten minutes!
Officer:
It's nothing to worry about. We have it under control.
Nina:
My sister's got a 6 month old baby next door! If Bella's some sort of crazed killer I want to know!
Officer:
Just go inside and stay calm miss.

Warden: Ok, are you ready to go home?
Don:
I think so.
Warden:
You haven't made your bed.
Don:
What?
Warden:
I'm only pulling you leg! (laughs). Your friends here waiting for you.
Don:
Is it ok If I say goodbye to a few people?
Warden:
Of course. I'll wait by the door.
Don:
Thanks.

Dr Smith: Ok, Dustin, it's time for your first discussion.
Dustin:
Discussion?
Dr Smith:
You'll just have a short chat with one of the doctors.
Dustin:
I can't be bothered.
Dr Smith:
You haven't got a choice. Follow me.

Don: Thank you both for being at this prison. I couldn't have coped without a couple of friends.
Eric:
It's fine.
Don:
I'm going to miss you both.
Eric:
Oh, forget about us. Get back to your wife, man.
Don:
I'll never forget you! Look me up when you get out.
Eric:
(laughs) Yeah, ok man. See you.
Mike:
Bye mate.

Dr Jones: Hello Dustin, take a seat.
Dustin:
No way, I'm not talking to him!
Dr Smith:
Excuse me?
Dustin:
I'm not talking to him!
Dr Smith:
Why not?
Dustin:
I'm just not, ok?
Dr Smith:
Dr Jones, could you leave the room. I'll talk to him today.
Dr Jones:
Yes, of course.

Don: Cassandra!

Cassandra: Ow! That hurt.
Don:
Sorry. Thanks for coming!
Cassandra:
It's fine. Can you get down now? Your heavy!
Don:
(laughs) Sorry. I'm just excited!
Cassandra:
Come on, lets get you out of here.

Dr Smith: So, what was all that about?
Dustin:
I just don't like the look of him.
Dr Smith:
I see. Well, lets start our our chat. Do you remember when your father died?
Dustin:
Yes.
Dr Smith:
How did it make you feel when he died?
Dustin:
Great.
Dr Smith:
You were happy?
Dustin:
Yeah.
Dr Smith:
You wanted your father dead?
Dustin:
Yes!

Dr Smith: Did you get on well with your father?
Dustin:
Can I go home now?
Dr Smith:
No, not yet. Would you say you hated your dad?
Dustin:
Absolutely.
Dr Smith:
Why?
Dustin:
That's none of your business. It's a family matter!
Dr Smith:
Everything you tell us is private Dustin.
Dustin:
I don't care. I'm not telling you!

Dr Andrews Jnr: Sorry to interrupt miss, but the police are here.
Dr Smith:
Oh great! What do they want?
Dr Andrews:
There going around the neighbourhood. They said they want to speak to you.
Dr Smith:
(sighs) Ok, thank you. Dustin, we'll continue this another day.
Dustin:
Oh goody, I'll look forward to it so much!

Alexandra: Salad... no. Corn beef... minging! Crisps... yes!
(someone coughs)
Bella: That's not a very good dinner Alex.

Alexandra: Mum, you scared me half to death!
Bella:
Sorry sweetie.
Alexandra:
How did you get in? Did my present idea work?
Bella:
No, someone left the back door open.
Alexandra:
Oh. The police were looking for you this morning. Did they find you?
Bella:
Not yet.
Alexandra:
What do they want you for?
Bella:
I'm in trouble Alex. Sit down.

Fran: Are you Angela?
Angela:
Yeah, why?
Fran:
I need to talk to you. It's about your sister.
Angela:
Oh, ok.

Dina: I've missed you so much!
Don:
I've missed you too. How's Jack?
Dina:
He's great. He's getting really big now!
Don:
I better go and see him! Thanks for brining me home Cassandra.
Cassandra:
That's ok.

Dina: Thanks again for everything.
Cassandra:
It's fine. I'm glad to have helped. Listen, don't ask Don what happened in there. Just let him forget about it.
Dina:
What did happen to him?
Cassandra:
I can't tell you. It's been really emotional for Don though. Just don't ask about it. He might tell you himself.
Dina:
Ok, I won't ask him. I trust you. I'd invite you in for a bit, but I guess you want to get home.
Cassandra:
Why?
(Police sirens)
Dina:
That's why. One whizzes past every few minutes. There looking for your mum.
Cassandra:
What did she do!?
Dina:
I haven't got a clue, but whatever it was, it was big!

Angela: Drugs!? Even Lilith wouldn't be that stupid.
Fran:
I'm sorry, but I heard everything. I was in a toilet cubicle. Now Kate's threatening to tell you.
Angela:
So, if Lilith doesn't go out with her, she was going to tell me?
Fran:
Yes. It's totally stupid, but I thought you should know. I've been considering telling you all day, but If you already know then Lilith has nothing to be worried about.
Angela:
I better find her then. Do you know where she is?
Fran:
I think they've gone out already.
Angela:
Oh great!
Fran:
Don't worry, we can go and look for them.

Alexandra: You left dad for another man!?
Bella:
Yes, and I'm sorry.
Alexandra:
So that's why Cassandra's mad at you?
Bella:
Yes. Are you mad at me?
Alexandra:
I don't think so.
Bella:
Oh good.
Alexandra:
I don't understand though. What's this got to do with the police being after you?
Bella:
Alexandra, I... killed him.

Bella: I killed Henry Price!

Fran: I've found her!
Angela:
Oh Lilith, look at the state of you.
Fran:
We better get her home.
Angela:
Come on Lilith. Lets get you to bed.

Cassandra: Hello, your looking for Bella Goth, right? ... I know where you can find her.
