Pleasantview - Series 3 - Episode 27 - A Not So Merry...

Christmas Eve

Dirk: This is the life.
Sam:
So your glad we came then?
Dirk:
Of course. Were living it up using your dads money. It's great!
Sam:
We'll have to find jobs after Christmas though.
Dirk:
Yeah, I know. Hopefully we'll be able to work together somewhere. I've got too used to being with you all the time.

Daniel: I'm glad were going home for Christmas, and to see Sophie, but I will miss France.
Kaylynn:
Me too, but we can't just live here forever.
Daniel:
Couldn't we? I could maybe get a work transfer. I'd love to live here permanently.
Kaylynn:
Really? I don't know. I don't think I could ever leave Pleasantview.
Daniel:
But we can consider it, can't we?
Kaylynn:
We can talk about it at home. Those boys across the street look familiar. Do you recognise them?
Daniel:
Where about?
Kaylynn:
They're sitting at the bistro.
Daniel:
That's Dirk and Sam Dreamer! Darren never mentioned they were going on holiday.
Kaylynn:
Their dad's aren't with them.
Daniel:
They've probably hit the shops. Let's go over and say hello.

Max: Morning sleepy head.
Cassandra:
Where am I?
Max:
In my flat, in my bed.
Cassandra:
(Groans) How did I get here?
Max:
(Laughs) You came back with me silly.
Cassandra:
I don't remember.
Max:
You were pretty out of it. I'll get you some aspirin.
Cassandra:
Did we...?
Max:
No. I just put you to bed and slept on the sofa.
Cassandra:
Ok, good. Thanks. I must of drunk the bar dry!
Max:
(Laughs) You did pretty much.

Eric: Nina, are you in the mood?
Nina:
What!? I can't believe your thinking about that, after what we did last night!
Eric:
We'll go mad if we dwell on it. We just need to move on, and act normal.
Nina:
Once were home, I'll be fine, but were only a few metres away from Mr Dawson at the moment and I can't stop thinking about it. I need to get out of here!
Eric:
Ok, whatever you want. We'll get out of here straight after breakfast.
Nina:
Breakfast!?
Eric:
We've paid for it!
Nina:
Eric, we've already been seen too much. We've got to sneak away, and fast!
Eric:
(Sighs) Fine.

Kaylynn: Your here alone!?
Daniel:
Why?
Dirk:
We ran away. We just wanted to be alone... together.
Kaylynn:
You mean...? Oh.
Daniel:
Your dad's must be worried sick!
Sam:
We don't care, they deserve it.
Kaylynn:
It's Christmas tomorrow! The four of you should be together! Were getting back to Sophie later today!
Dirk:
We've got each other, it's all we need.
Daniel:
If we can get you tickets on the same plane as us today, will you come home?
Sam:
No, were not leaving.
Kaylynn:
But how will you live? What about money!?
Dirk:
We'll manage! We love each other, and that's what maters!

Kaylynn: Well, no one can say we didn't try.
Daniel:
But if Darren and Peter find out we saw them and didn't get them home, they'll kill us!
Kaylynn:
What more can we do? They don't want to go back.
Daniel:
They're getting on that plane if we have to drag them on to it and strap them to the seats!
Kaylynn: It's not really our business.
Daniel: I'm good friends with Darren, so I've made it our business. I'm sorry to spoil our last morning here, but this is more important.
Kaylynn: Your right. We've had a week to ourselves. Let's get them home.

Eric: Someone's waving!
Nina:
She's seen the car now.
Eric:
Just act normal. Smile and wave back!

Julie: Morning Willy... oh, and Buster too.
Willy:
Morning Julie. That couple just left?
Julie:
Yeah, they were a bit quiet, weren't they?
Willy:
They didn't exactly join in with the party last night.
Julie:
They kept themselves to themselves. The few visitors we do get here are all odd balls... although maybe they think the same thing about us.
Willy:
Were better off without visitors. Our quiet little village is best kept a quiet little village.

Julie: Busters off somewhere.
Willy:
(Tuts) Silly dog. Buster, get back here!
Julie:
(Laughs) You better go after him. He might end up in the derelict mine again.
Willy
: (Laughs) I hope not. I'm still having nightmares about the last time I had to climb down and save him.

Julie: I think he's found something.
Willy:
It's probably just the bone he buried yesterday.
Julie:
Oh my god, that looks like... Willy, it's a person!
Willy:
Jesus!
Julie:
Get him off it. We need to leave it for the police!
Willy:
That couple!
Julie:
Oh my god! They must of had something to do with this! We better phone the police.
Willy:
There goes our quiet village again.
Julie:
Aye.

Max: Did you drink all your coffee?
Cassandra:
Yes.
Max:
Want another?
Cassandra:
No thanks.
Max:
Are you feeling any better?
Cassandra:
My head actually feels worse.
Max:
Hangovers always get worse before getting better.

Cassandra: It really hurts.
Max:
It's just the booze, don't worry about it.
Cassandra:
I've had headaches loads of times before, but this is just something else!

Cassandra: I really don't feel well. My head is pounding. I think I better go home.
Max:
Come on, it's only eleven.
Cassandra:
I know, but my brother is alone.
Max:
Let him look after himself for once.
Cassandra:
No really, I have to go.
Max:
Then let me walk you home at least.
Cassandra: You really don't have to.
Max: But I want to.

Max: Are you going to come in or what?
Cassandra:
Where are we?
Max:
This is my place.
Cassandra:
I thought you were taking me home.
Max:
When the night is so young? Come on love, get inside. You know you want me.
Cassandra:
I...
Max:
I'll make you a coffee, come on. Now!

Cassandra: Get off me!
Max:
Come on darling, you know you want it!
Cassandra:
Stay back, or I'll scream!
Max:
Go ahead, It just turns me on even more!
Cassandra:
Get back!

Cassandra: I have to go!
Max:
So soon?
Cassandra:
My brother! He'll be worried.
Max:
You can use my phone... let him know where you are.
Cassandra:
No, really, I need to get home. Thanks for a great night.
Max:
Ok, bye. Off you go. I'll call.
Cassandra:
You haven't got my number.
Max:
I took it off your phone last night.
Cassandra:
Oh right... bye.

Angela: Mum, there's something I have to tell you.
Lilith:
Angela!
Mary-Sue:
What is it Angela?
Angela:
After Christmas, I don't think I want to go back to University.
Lilith:
Of course you do! Don't be stupid.
Mary-Sue:
Lilith, go and check on Sophie please!
Lilith:
We'd hear if she was crying!
Mary-Sue:
Just do it!

Mary-Sue: Now tell me, what's brought this on? Are you being bullied?
Angela:
No mum, and if I was, I could handle it.
Mary-Sue:
Is it Jack? Has something happened between you? Have you split up?
Angela:
Your too good at guessing mum.
Mary-Sue:
What went wrong? I thought you were getting on really well.
Angela:
I got...
(Doorbell rings)
Angela:
It's Cassandra.
Mary-Sue:
She can wait.
Angela:
So can this. Just open the door mum.

Mary-Sue: This is a unexpected, but nice, surprise. You look very nice.
Cassandra:
Thanks... I went out like this last night. I've just got in.
Mary-Sue:
You found someone, then!?
Cassandra:
I thought I did, but... oh Mary, I think I might of been drugged.
Mary-Sue:
What!?
Cassandra:
(Cries) And... and maybe... maybe... raped.

Mary-Sue: Oh dear.  What makes you think you were drugged?
Cassandra:
I don't know, but something isn't right. I can't remember much from last night... but I woke up almost naked in his bed this morning. All I can recall is him buying me loads of drinks, and starting to feel me up. I told him to stop... but I can't remember anything else! I really don't feel too well.
Mary-Sue:
It's going to be ok. The police can...
Cassandra:
No! It's Christmas tomorrow. I can't spoil it for Alex, and I'm not even sure anything happened.
Mary-Sue:
But... what if it did!? He can't get away with it.
Cassandra:
Maybe he really did just put me to bed.
Mary-Sue:
We've got to call the police. They can do tests and things. We have to act quickly though.
Cassandra:
I can't!

Mary-Sue: Cassandra, come back! We've got to get moving!
Cassandra:
I can't handle this!
Mary-Sue:
But he's going to get away with it! You can't let him!

Daniel: Were doing this for you boys. You'll appreciate it once your home for Christmas. I'm sure your dad's would of found you eventually anyway.
Dirk:
Please... we want to stay. If we go home we can never be together!
Daniel:
You think your dad's won't have seen the errors of their ways? Nothing could of opened their eyes to the problem more than you two running away.
Sam:
He's right. Maybe they just needed to be scared into letting us be together.
Dirk:
But... another plane journey.
Sam:
He's scared of flying.
Daniel:
(Laughs) You've got three of us for support this time. No more excuses... were going home.

Cassandra: (Cries) Alex, Alex... I really need you. Alex! Alex? Alex!?
