Pleasantview Residents

Below you can meet the residents of Pleasantview Series 4. Note that if you're not up to date with reading the previous three series then there may be serious plot spoilers below!

 


The Goth Family

The Goth Family

Mortimer Goth, died of cancer when we arrived in Pleasantview. Shortly after his funeral, Bella Goth, who had been missing for three years appeared back in the Neighbourhood. Bella had left Mortimer for a man named Henry Price. She murdered Henry a few years later, and after evading capture for two series Bella is now safely locked away.

Cassandra was forced to take on her mothers role, caring for her younger brother Alexander. Alexander was a handful, and often refused to listen to his sister. At the end of series 3 Alexander was tragically murdered leaving his lonely sister behind. A police officer named Tony, who had been involved in searching for Alexander took a liking to Cassandra and has been with her for a year so far.

Ronald Farthing is introduced in series four, as Cassandras half brother. Mortimer Goth had had a affair when he was younger, but had abandonded the child to be with his 'real' family.


The Bachelor Family

The Bachelor Family

Mary-Sue and Daniel Pleasant got divorced in the first series, and Mary-Sue and her two teenage daughters reverted back to her maiden name of Bachelor. Mary-Sue and Daniel had a successful marriage of 23 years until Daniel cheated on Mary-Sue, with the maid, Kaylynn Langerak. Mary-Sue took a long time to get over Daniel, but she now believes that she is ready to move on, and is happy with the strong friendship they still have together.

In the fourth series Mary-Sue has just been elected as the mayor of Pleasantview. She has many changes planned, including converting Pleasantview prison into a home for the homeless, and building some new luxury apartments to attract business men from the city.

Twins, Lilith and Angela dropped thier studies at Sim State University, when Angela fell Pregnant at the end of series three. Jack, the baby Laura's father, is demanding to see his daughter, but Angela is denying him his rights after he'd previously said he wanted nothing to do with the child.


The Johnson Family

The Johnson Family

In series one, Eric was serving a sentence in Sim State prison for beating up his wife, Rose. Last series Eric moved to Pleasantview, and it was revealed that Eric was formally a con-man, and Rose had in-fact been beaten up by two thugs sent by one of Eric's previous con victims. Eric took the blame, to avoid an investigation into his past. Eric only married Rose to con her and claim ownership of her home. The con went wrong at the last minute, when the two thugs arrived.

Eric lived with Nina Caliente for the second and third series, and they fell in love together. Nina later became pregant. Before going to Prison, Eric had been in trouble with a man named Mr Dawson, to whom he owed money. In series three his past caught up with him, and Nina shot Mr Dawson. The couple panicked and buried him, but on Christmas Eve the body was discovered. The couple disapeared from Pleasantview and their where-abouts are currently unknown.


The Pleasant Family

The Pleasant Family

After a successful marriage and the birth of two twin sisters, Daniel cheated on Mary-Sue with the maid, Kaylynn Langerak. He divorced Mary-Sue in series one. In series two, Kaylynn was in a coma for the majority of the time, with her and her child being fed by machines. When Kaylynn woke up she couldn't remember that her first wedding had been unsuccessful after Daniel had chased her into the road, where Kaylynn was hit by a car. Sophie, the couples baby had survived the coma and was born shortly after.

Daniel used Kaylynn's amnesia to his advantage, and the second attempt at a wedding went off without any hiccups. The couple and their daughter Sophie now live together happily in Pleasantview, but this series their happiness will be rocked when their daughter is kidnapped.

 

 


The Burb Family

The Burb Family

The Burb family arrived in Pleasantview during the second series. John and Jennifer got married at a young age and had their daughter Lucy shortly after. Before the couple moved to Pleasantview, their daughter was tragically stabbed to death in their toy store, while they were making out in the staff room.

Their daughters killer went free, because he had an emotional breakdown at the time of the killing. The couple couldn't remain in their old town with their tragic history, so have moved to Pleasantview for a fresh start.

Being young entrepreneurs the couple brought the community centre, and extended it by adding shops and food outlets. With their business keeping their wallets filled, Jennifer Burb thinks the time is right for a new child, but John doesn't agree...

 

 


The Lothario Family

The Lothario Family

Before we arrived in Pleasantview Don got Dina pregnant. When Dina decided she wanted to keep the baby, she convinced Don to be the baby's father and insisted they got married.

After the troubles Don faced in prison, during the first series Don and Dina's marriage became stronger than ever and their son Jack grew into a happy toddler, constantly demanding time from his giving parents.

The Lothario family disapeared from Pleasantview and haven't been seen since the end of series three.

 

 

 


The Caliente Family

The Caliente Family

Nina Caliente spent many years of her life living with her sister, Dina, until Don Lothario whisked her away to his home. Nina let Eric Johnson move into her home, when he left prison, and she soon fell in love with him.

Being close to Eric, Nina was forced to become involved in Eric's past. She learned about how he used to be a con man, and how his final scam had gone horribly wrong. With debts still owed by Eric, Nina felt unsafe so she aqquired a gun for her protection. When Mr Dawson came asking for money, which the couple didn't have to give, Nina shot him in self defence. Scared of what might happen to her, she convinced Eric that they should bury the body.

Eric and Nina dissapeared together from Pleasantview at the end of series three, and their where-abouts are currently unknown.

 


The Broke Family

The Broke Family

The Broke family is far from normal. Skip Broke died two years before we arrived in Pleasantview. when his son, Dustin drugged him and let him drown in the swimming pool. In series two the Broke family left Pleasantview, but Dustin and Beau later returned in series three. It was revealed that Brandi, their mother, had been killed.

In series 4 Dustin and Beau are living on the dump, after their old home was demolished as part of a new initiative for the neighbourhood. Dustin had turned to drugs and Beau was very sick due to the cold winter. Mary-Sue spots the children at the dump and takes them home, but can she find the time to be a good mother to them? Will Dustin manage to give up the drugs?

Dustin had once been involved with Angela Pleasant. After moving in with her some of his old feelings for her come swarming back.

 

 


The Dreamer Family

The Dreamer Family

Peter was Darren's brother. He was a successful business man until problems at his business led him to bankruptcy. He, with his son Sam moved to Pleasantview in series two. Dirk and Sam discovered they are actually half-brothers, when their fathers revealed they shared the same mother. Both Sam and Dirk are gay, and before they discovered they were more than cousins, the boys fell in love and couldn't change how they felt about each other.

In series three Dirk and Sam Dreamer ran away together to France. Their fathers went after them. Tragically the Plane that Darren and Peter flew in crashed, and Darren Dreamer died after saving his brother from a raging fire. Peter survived the fire but became paralysed from the waist down. Feeling depressed, Peter tries to get in contact with the only woman he had ever loved.

It was believed that Darleen Dreamer had died of cancer while Dirk was a young boy, but Darleen actually went away to a rehab clinic, and was outcast by her husband Darren, because he was ashamed to call her his wife. Darleen returned to Pleasantview at the end of Series 3, and now has no choice but to be a mother to her boys.

 


The Oldies Family

The Oldies Family

The Oldies family arrived in Pleasantview in series three. Herb and Coral moved to the neighbourhood believing that it would be a relaxing environment for them to enjoy their retirement. Unfortunately, the oldies soon discovered that Pleasantview wasn't going to provide the quiet retirement they had in mind.

Coral was never able to have Children so the Oldies devoted their lives to their work. With their working lives over, the Oldies are trying to occupy their final years. They'll happily baby sit any children in the neighbourhood for free. Coral also enjoys poking her nose into other peoples business.

 

 

 


The Hodgeson Family

The Hodgeson Family

The Hodgeson family arrived in Pleasantview during series four. Liam and Maria Hodgeson arn't married, but Maria chose to begin using Liams surname when they first moved in together.They have two children, 17 year old Katy and 12 year old Tommy.

Since meeting Maria, Liam has been unemployed, Prefering to let his wife earn a living for their family. Maria has put up with Liam for years because she loves him and for the sake of the children, but is constantly having doubts about whether they should stay together.

Little Tommy is a trouble causer and enjoys bullying other children. He's been particulary bad since the move to Pleasantview, because he never wanted to leave his old home. Katy claims to hate Liam, and wishes he wasn't her father.

 

 


The Williams Family

The Williams Family

Leo Williams is a single father, raising his son Luke. Leo's wife Dawn died from cancer, and Leo moved just a few miles to Pleasantview for a fresh start.

Leo is extremely well off, which raises suspicions with the other residents. Luke is a well behaved seven year old.
