They’re dropping like flies...



There’s only five left...



Tonight; there's tears on the beach as the contestants receive letters from home



And we learn who's one step closer to making the final; All tonight, on Simvivor.



Debbie: Hello and welcome to the eight elimination of Simvivor 2010. We’ve been throwing them out left right and centre and tonight, we’re eliminating another. Tonight we’ll be throwing one out, then tomorrow we’ll throw out the final contestant of the series. Who will it be? Well, that’s down to you. Before i talk to the contestants, let’s take a look at how Tania’s departure effected the group.



Early Morning:



Debbie: Hello again islanders, nervous?
Stacey: Oh my gosh, very nervous.
Debbie: You’ve all done very well to get this far. But as usual, one of you will be leaving and i’m about to reveal who it is...



Debbie: ...Stacey...
Stacey: I’m going, i’m gone.
Debbie: You can calm down...because it’s not you.
Stacey: (gasps) Oh my god, thank you public.
Kyle: Well done babe.



Debbie: ...David...
David: (sighs) Let me have it Deb...
Debbie: It’s not you.
David: Oh my god, i’ve survived again?!
Kayley: Well done David.



Debbie: ...Kyle...
Kyle: Am i going?
Stacey: Don’t be silly Kyle...
Debbie: It’s not you.
Kyle: (gasps) Oh my god.
Stacey: See babe, i told you.



Debbie: ...Kayley...
Kayley: Oh here we go...
David: Don’t assume anything Kayley...
Kayley: Hate figure number 1 me (laughs).
Debbie: It’s not you.
Kayley: (gasps) Oh my god, are you sure?
Debbie: (laughs) Yes, they’ve been double checked.



Debbie: This leaves Sam and Tania...
Sam: It’s me, i know it.
Tania: Let’s find out.
Debbie: The seventh contestant to be eliminated from Simvivor 2010 is...



Tania: I’m not ready to go yet...
Sam: Neither am i...
Debbie: ...Tania!
Tania: (gasps) No way.
Debbie: I’ll be waiting for you by the Treemail Tania.



Tania: I can’t believe it.
Sam: I’m shocked as well Tania.
Kayley: You’re going to be okay Tania, just take it easy girl.
Tania: Oh my god they hate me.
Stacey: They don’t hate you Tania.
Tania: I can’t believe it, i was really enjoying it.



Kyle: Give us a hug Tania.
Tania: I can’t believe i’m going.
Kayley: You’re going to be fine Tania, you’re classy and fun...
Tania: Thanks Kayley.



Tania: I guess this is goodbye guys.
Stacey: Bye Tania.
Kyle: Good luck ‘Tan



Stacey: I wasn’t expecting Tania to go.
David: Me neither, i’ve been quite surprised to be honest.
Sam: I thought i was a goner then.
Kayley: I’m not that surprised, i spoke to her about her behaviour when we woke up today, she’s acted selfish at times, but she totally accepted it and said she was going to calm down...looks like it was too late.



Kayley: I think Tania is a nice girl really, it’s just she was miffed about small things and it really didn’t come across in a good way.



Kyle: Hey i’ve just realised, Kayley and Stacey are the top girls.
Kayley: Oh my god you’re right.
Stacey: It’s funny that we’re quite close as well, so it’s all the better.



Stacey: I think that with the end being so near, we’ve kinda just come together as group, it’s really nice.



David: I think we should just enjoy it now, we’ve got 3 days left here, let’s have the time of our lives.
Kayley: Yep, i agree with you there.
Sam: Yeah, let’s make the most of the time we have left.
Stacey: You say it as if we’re always arguing (laughs).
David: Well there has been a fair amount of tension on the beach, but now all those have gone, it’s time to just bury the hatchet.



Sam: David really annoyed me with his speech earlier, he’s kinda implying that Tania was one of the main causes of conflict; i don’t think she was at all.



Kyle: I said all this weeks ago, but you all decide to listen now? (laughs)
Kayley: I was just going to say you said this a while ago (laughs).

Dinner Time:



David: This sun is absolutely amazing, i’ll miss it when we return to the UK.
Kayley: Ah i know, all i want is a waiter to come along now...
David: Serve us some shots each.
Kayley: Oh don’t my mouths watering. I’d actually love a nice ice cream Sundae right now.
David: Oh me too, with strawberries in it.
Kayley: Oh my god, i’m actually hoping they’ll treat us to one now.
David: So, do you have any idea on how you’ll do...position-wise?
Kayley: Erm...do you?
David: Well i was kinda shocked that Tania went today really. I thought she would’ve been...what the audience want. Whereas i’m just...there...



Kayley: The thing with that is, although she was entertaining and funny, the public would be more likely to vote her out; and i think that you’re a sweet guy and it’s so obvious. People talk about how they think Kyle or Stacey will win, but i think you could be a dark horse in this game.
David: That’s really sweet of you to say Kayley.
Kayley: Well i really think it David, you’ve never been nasty to anyone, you’ve been pretty gentle and honest with people. If i was having a down day i’d sit with you.
David: I really appreciate that Kayley, i really do.



Sam: Guys...brace yourself for this...we’ve got letters from home.
Stacey: (gasps) Shut up...you’re joking?
Sam: No, just found them all in the Treemail.



Kayley: Oh my god you’re kidding me?
Sam: Let’s sit down and i’ll read them out.
Kyle: Oh god, why am i nervous?
David: Same here, i’m actually shaking.
Sam: The first one is for David...
David: Oh god.



Sam: Here goes...”Dear David, for the last three weeks you’ve displayed everything that we all knew about you already; that you’re a genuine, beautiful and honest person. I have no idea when you’ll leave the island, but i do know that i’ll be waiting to hug you and cuddle you because i’m so proud of you David, you’ll always be my little boy that used to tell me how much he loved me and how i smelt lovely. So until i see you, keep brightening you islanders up with that dazzling smile of yours. Forever and always, you’re beloved mother.”
David: Oh my god...i miss you so much mum.
Stacey: That was so lovely.
David: I’m 31 years old and this is the longest i’ve been away from her (laughs).
Kayley: Well she’s supporting you no matter what babe.



David: I’ll read Sam’s then; “To my beautiful son; guess where i am, i’m sitting in a luxury hotel in Palau, waiting for you to emerge from the island itself. Remember to be nice to everyone, and keep that handsome smile on your face. I’ll be rooting for you all the way, lots of love, your mum”



Sam: (cries) I love you mum...
Stacey: It’s okay Sam, she’s rooting for you all the way.
Kyle: What is it with us guys and our mothers?
David: (laughs) Our coolness went out the window.



Kayley: This one is for Stacey...
Stacey: Oh my god...
Kayley: Here goes; “Stacey, we’re all missing you so much. We’ve lost count the amount of times Aunt Barbara and Uncle Keith have phoned us up talking about you on the show. They probably know more about it than you know yourself. All the family is rooting for you to win, so hang on in there Stacey. We’re so proud of you, our special little angel, and we can’t wait for the day when we see you again and...” Oh my god...



Stacey: (cries) Oh my family...
Kayley: (sobs) Sorry...erm...”and we can’t wait for the day when we see you again and...You embrace us with one of your warm cuddles...we’ve missed them so much...it’s not the same without you here telling us about your day at the hairdressers. Good luck little angel, we look forward to being reunited; All the family”.



Stacey: (sobs) They’re proud of me...
Kyle: Course they are babe, you’ve been fantastic.
Kayley: (sobs) Come here girl.



Kayley: You’re so special, you know that right.
Stacey: (sobs) Thanks Kayley.



Sam: Kyle, this one is for you.
Kyle: From my parents?
Sam: Yes, that’s what it says.
Kyle: (gasps) I didn’t think they’d be bothered about me on this show.
Stacey: Why not babe?
Kyle: They hate reality shows...
Sam: Here goes; “My darling son, i love you and miss you so much; surprise, surprise you’ve fallen for a very attractive girl and she’s great fun, just like you. I’m looking forward to seeing you again Kyle, i’m there in Palau waiting for you, there’s a big dinner waiting for you. Hope to see you soon my darling son, lots of love, Mom.”



Kyle: I never expected her to get in touch...she’s...(cries)



Stacey: (sobs) What are we like at all?
Kyle: Bunch of soft asses?
Stacey: (laughs) She cares a lot about you Kyle...
Kyle: I know, she’s an inspiration to me, but she hates these type of shows.
Stacey: I think she’ll make a special effort for you babe, you’re her son.



Kyle: “Dear Kayley, good god, you’re some girl. Each day you make us more and more proud of you. I look forward the show every night, seeing you strut around with that Girl power symbol you portray. Everyone is so proud of you; me and your dad consider us your biggest fans, but your little nephew Jack is battling with us for it. Kayley you’re an absolute angel and you’re forever in our hearts; love Mum, dad, Melissa, Jack and the rest of the family.”
Kayley: (cries) Oh my little nephew...
Stacey: Aww how old is he?
Kayley: He’s 4.



Sam: The letters from home gave everyone a real boost today, but it was emotional stuff.



Kyle: Things like this pull us closer together, it’s going to be hard saying goodbye to these people as the numbers diminish.



Stacey: We’re all here now, together.
Kayley: Yeah, we’re going to be friends for a long time.



Kayley: Some people on this island will be my friends for a long time and i’m proud of the time i’ve had here.

Night Time:



The contestants were provided with alcohol 2 hours ago...



Sam: I’m so pleased that my mum is proud of me.
David: Same here, it’s funny that none of us are in a relationship and we’ve all had messages from our mums.
Sam: What was going on with Kyle though, he seemed surprised to get a message from his mum.
David: I think there was history to be honest.
Sam: Really?
David: Yeah, don’t ask what it was though...



Stacey: Kyle you’re off your head.
Kyle: (laughs) I know, i’ve had a bit too much.
Kayley: Aye a bit, you can’t even look me in the eye.
Kyle: Kayley...beautiful sweet...virginal Kayley...
Stacey: (laughs) He’s hammered.
Kayley: Virginal...you’ll be surprised lad.



Kyle: I could never be surprised by you...you’re un-surprisable...
Kayley: That’s not even a word Kyle.
Kyle: It is in Kyle’s dictionary.



David: Kyle’s gonna be like a zombie in the morning.
Sam: If he wasn’t with Stacey, this would be the perfect opportunity to take advantage (laughs).



Kyle: Stacey i love you.
Stacey: Yeah, let’s get you to bed Kyle.
Kyle: It’s a bit early for that Stacey-pie.
Stacey: (laughs) It’s time to sleep.
Kyle: Sleep, it’s not that late.
Stacey: It is for you.





Stacey: Kyle,  get up off the floor.
Kyle: I wanna watch the stars Stacey-pie.
Stacey: (laughs) Kyle you need to get in bed.
Kyle: I can’t think about that right now.
Stacey: Right then, stay there.



Sam: Hammered?
Stacey: Just a bit.
David: We need to get him in bed because he...well...look at him.
Stacey: He’ll not listen though, he’s just “watching the stars”.
Sam: I drank more than him.
Stacey: Trust me you didn’t.

Later...



Stacey: Oh he’s got up now...
Kayley: Looks like a trip to the toilet is in order.
Stacey: I’ll go and see.



Stacey: Kyle are you okay?
Kyle: ....no....
Stacey: You being sick?
Kyle: Just let me die Stacey...you can’t save me now.
Stacey: Oh shut up you big softie let me in.



Kayley: He’s being sick in the toilet.
David: Tell Stacey to make sure he drinks water.
Sam: Water makes it worse.
David: He needs to drink it though.
Kayley: Imagine Tania’s face if she’d have been here to see this?
David: (laughs) She would’ve gone mad.



Stacey: Come on Kyle, come and sleep in the hammock.
Kyle: (coughs) You’re an angel....
Stacey: I know, let’s go.



David: We’ll need to put a bucket next to him.
Stacey: What can i use?
Kayley: Hmm...did we throw out the KFC bucket? (laughs).
Stacey: (laughs) It’s up near the Treehouse.
Sam: The last thing he needs is a KFC smell next to him.
Kayley: We have no choice Sam...



Kayley: (laughs) We’re gonna stop accepting alcohol.
Stacey: I know, i’m gonna be a right alcoholic when i leave here.
Kayley: Same...



Debbie: (laughs) Something tells me that the producers won’t be supplying them with alcohol again. Anyway, they’re playing happy family’s right now but who’s about to be separated? Let’s go and talk to them...



Debbie: Hello there...
Kayley: Hey Deb.
Debbie: And hello to the hangover man.
Kyle: (sighs) Don’t...please...
Debbie: (laughs) You feeling better?
Kyle: A bit.
Debbie: Well i’m sorry to break up this happy family; but the public have been voting since yesterday and i can now reveal that...



Debbie: ...Kyle...
Kyle: (sighs) Come on then...
Stacey: You’re not going anywhere babe.
Debbie: You’re not going home.
Kyle: (gasps) Oh my god.
Stacey: See babe.



Debbie: ...Kayley...
Kayley: Oh god...
Debbie: You’re not going home.
Kayley: (gasps) Oh my god, i’m still here.
Sam: Well done babe.



Debbie: ...Stacey...
Stacey: Let’s hear it...
Debbie: You’re not going home.
Kyle: Well done babe.
Debbie: Which means both girls have survived; it’s between David or Sam...



David: Come on then Debbie.
Debbie: The eighth contestant to be eliminated from Simvivor 2010...is...



David: Am i going to be seeing my mum?



Sam: (laughs) Am i going to be seeing mine?
Kayley: (laughs)



Debbie: ...Sam!
Sam: Ah that’s bad luck.
Debbie: Sam i’ll be waiting for you by the Treemail Letterbox.



Sam: Give me a hug.
Kayley: Sam you have done amazing babes.
Stacey: Yes you really have, hold your head up high.
Sam: I’m happy to go now, i’ve had a great time.
Kyle: That’s the spirit dude.



Sam: See you later guys.
David: Say hello to Kristen for me.



Sam: I’m here Debbie.
Debbie: So Sam is the eighth to be eliminated, let’s take a look at his time.

Debbie: Aww, so that’s your story.
Sam: I’m so pleased with myself.
Debbie: You’re two places away from the final; bit gutted?
Sam: I won’t lie, i would’ve loved to make the final, but i’m pleased to have gotten as far as i did.
Debbie: Who do you want to win?
Sam: Oh that’s a tough one...
Debbie: It really is, they’re all quite close together now...
Sam: You know what; i’d actually like Kayley to win.
Debbie: Why Kayley?
Sam: Because none of them expect her to. Every elimination she’s convinced she’s going, but she keeps staying. She’s a really, really nice girl and i think that she’d do the series proud if she won.
Debbie: It’s quite surprising hearing you talk about Kayley like that because you had a big issue with her at the start of the show.



Sam: I didn’t like her at all, but i’m easily influenced.
Debbie: Are you talking about anyone in particular?
Sam: Amy of course, i really got on with her at the start. Then she changed, something went off in her mind and she hated me. She thought i was back stabbing when really i was just trying to be friends with people...she seemed to be annoyed because Dean went instead of Kayley.
Debbie: I think that moment was a major turning point for Amy to be honest.
Sam: I don’t know what was wrong with her to be honest.
Debbie: Do you think you could be friends now you’ve left?
Sam: Maybe, we’ll have to see.
Debbie: I’m going to ask you about some of the islanders okay; what do you think of Kyle?
Sam: Gorgeous guy, inside and out. If Kayley doesn’t win, then i want him to.
Debbie: He was so funny when he was drunk last night.
Sam: (laughs) He was, i enjoyed his company. He arrived when the island was at a real low and he picked it up again.



Debbie: What about Stacey?
Sam: She’s great; wasn’t too sure about her for a while, but she’s grown on me and i think she’s really sweet.
Debbie: What about David?
Sam: Nice guy, he’s come out of his shell a little lately, which has done him the world of good because i’ve discovered what a nice guy he is.
Debbie: Okay, well i’m afraid that’s all we have time for. Thanks for taking part in the show.
Sam: You’re welcome.
